Tentang Kami

The method and techniques we apply in the classroom of Alam Bahasa Indonesia are in the framework of Communicative Approach toward language teaching and learning. That is based on the belief that language is basically a means of communication. Then, learning a language is learning to communicate using the language. Consequently, the materials and the activities are designed as and for real communication. Applying the Direct method, we help the learners to identify concepts and expressions.

The classroom activities are presented in the frame of the Direct Method, which is based on the Communicative Approach toward language teaching and learning. This way, the language items presented are treated as a communication means more than a linguistic soul-less building. In other words, how they function and work in the specific communication situation is the core of the classroom activity.
